Would you rather be blind or deaf? I would rather be deaf.

From a psychological perspective, the loss of hearing has far greater impact than most people can imagine. I would definately rather lose my sight than my hearing. The loss of hearing creates an immense feeling of isolation from one's environment even if you learn to lip read etc.

I dont know man. Not being able to see anything is kindof isolating too.
Deaf. Most people who lose their hearing after adolescence can still talk fine, and I think I could learn to lip-read. No music would suck, but I'd get over it eventually.
Losing sight is something I don't think I could really cope with. I'm kind of paranoid by nature, so not being able to see would drive me crazy. And I don't have the coordination to get by without sight. Plus my hearing already kinda sucks, so it's not like I'd be able to really compensate.
Deaf, easily. I wouldnt have a life if i was blind. At least if you still have vision, you can enjoy the worlds beauty, as well as women, communicaste via hand sign or writing, video games, do active or sporty things, drive, you can basically do anything anyone else can do.
Deaf I could live comfortably enough without music, but I don't see how I could survive without being able to see.
Wow, this thread is going to give me nightmares. I'm leaning towards deaf, although I watched Babel yesterday and I felt sorry for the deaf girl (bit creepy though>.>).
