A very bad cold, I'm talking about stuffy and runny noses, deafening sneezes and violent coughing, sore throat head aches and clogged ears. A very bad flu, I'm talking about throwing up, diarrhea, aches and pains and fever.

For me, I'd kinda have to go with the cold. I wouldn't want either, but I really hate throwing up and diarrhea.

I had both over the past week.I prefer the stomach flu because Kleenax is too friggin expensive.I am feeling better though.

I'd rather not be violently expelling liquids and solids out of both ends. I pick the cold.

The cold, I caught it back in January, but I still threw up anyway. The flu is awful, I caught it three times, worst disease ever, expect for the ones that are known to kill very well.

The cold. At least with the cold, I wouldn't be stuck in bed. With the flu, it's pretty hard to motivate yourself to even sit up.

what everyone is sauing cold, i don't like throwing up. but if i have motion sickness i throw up it feels a lot better.

I had a very bad flu in November and almost died because I couldn't eat or drink ANYTHING (I mean I'd puke up water three minutes after drinking it)

I was in the hospital on IV for a couple days and solidly sick for 11 days, then it took another week or two for everything to get back in function

SO I'd much rather the cold

cold, because i don't think the symptoms are as bad as the flu, and i can just take meds so it's not as bad. actually, i nearly never get the flu, i don't remember the last time i got it (and i've never had a flu shot).

I pick the cold. I just got over the flu, worst disease I have ever had. I couldn't sit up for a couple of days, and I was worn out for the rest of the day just getting up and walking to the bathroom.:cry:

i'd pick cold...having to throw up everything i eat is horrible..and i dont like spending too much time in the washrooms if i dont have to

This is an odd question, it's almost like saying "Would you want a very bad cold, or organ failure?" because Flu is so much worse than a cold, hell, it's got all the symptoms a cold has and more.
