I wouldn't do it simply because that's fake and would be impossible to do without any kind of assurance of landing in the pool. If the pool was bigger however I'd give it a go. ;)
I KNEW it was going to be that video before I clicked the link!
It's definitely fake, but still awesome. I would do it if I was guarenteed to not get seriously injured.
the fake bit isn't landing in the pool - it's not sliding off the side of the slide in the first place!
but back to the question - a million dollars for possible broken neck and being a quadraplegic........ nup - sorry :(
Somehow I think a million dollars wouldn't even cover your medical bills if that stunt went wrong... >_>
I did the once. The calculations were right and I landed in the pool. To bad I forgot to fill it with water:P
But seriously though. It has to be fake. If it was a giant lake instead of a little pool I'd believe it. I could even believe that they had accurate enough calculations to get him in the pool. But that's way too shallow of water. It would be like landing in a puddle.
That was totally fake. He was only going downhill for like 15 feet. He would never get that kind of velocity to even make it up the ramp much less get that kind of distance. On top of that the odds of making it into the pool are slim and being in a wheelchair high.
Exactly. It was super fake. Didn't even look real. His body was totally straight/stiff while soaring horrizontally across the field. :lol:Ehm, even if you landed in that pool you'd at least break several bones. That tiny swimming pool is way to shallow for the water to break your fall at those speeds. Cool vid though, I wonder how they made it.
