Even if I wasn't sold on President Obama, I could not vote for a candidate (Romney) who has changed his view on every major important policy point through out his career, and sometimes changes during a conversation. He might be a great businessman but he's a rubbish candidate.
Over Santorum? Yes
Over Paul's foreign policy? Yes
Over Newt? Yes
Over President Obama? Not sure depends on his running mate and how the economy is.

Whats wrong with Paul's foreign policy?
I would not in the rain, I would not on a train. I would not with a fox, I would not on a box. I would not with a mouse, and not even in a house.

Can I just ask what exactly is so deplorable about Obama? I don't like him either, but probably not for the same reasons you do.I'd vote for anyone who isn't Obama. Even a cat.

I'm glad Gary J is getting some love on OT. As former governor of my home state, I know a lot more about his quirky personality and views than most :PManiacc1he is no paul, but he is acceptable. if paul is the oak that grew out of the **** we know as DC, Gary would be his friend the clover

Gary has a bit of a nutty side a result of spending too many years in Santa Fe. It's an actual condition, trust me. :P

Gary is prefereable to either of them, IMO.

Some people like to "take action".
I think we've taken to much action personally. But Ron Paul has a VERY neutral foreign policy which I'm not completely sure about. It seems like the biggest reason people won't vote for Ron Paul is just because of that. While I'm not in complete favor of his foriegn policy, I'd elect him over the other GOP candidates.
