Would you want to be a Mod?

If you were requested to become a Mod, would you go for it?
Why? Why not?

I personally wouldn't.
The idea of checking every link and thread doesn't sound very appealing.
Also having to ponder whether someone is trolling or joking or serious... Too much to worry about.

I wouldn't want to. I'm still prone to a moderation here and there, so it wouldn't look good if a moderator got moderated.

No I would not. I don't think I really contribute enough to the community the way it is. It would probably be worse if I was a mod. I most likely would be a horrible mod anyway. :P

I would and in fact I applied for it recently because I have grown very fond of this place and it bugs me to no end when I see somebody trolling so having the power to do something about it beyond just reporting it would be nice.

Having the "power" would be nice, but I'd be a horrible MOD.

I'd only mod users for clear insults to others (even then, I'd most likely just warn the user and only suspend them if they continued). The rest of the stuff (disruptive posting, intended solely to annoy, bypassing censors, etc), I'd just laugh at and never even consider it a mod-able offense.

So yeah, by GS standards, I'd be a horrible MOD :)
