Would you want to know when you will die?

If there was a way to find out the exact date you would die. Would you want to know? There is no way to change avoid it. It is 100% guaranteed you will die on this date.

Personally, I don't think I would. I want to be surprised.

Well at first i was going to say no why would anybody want to know when they die, but then i thought about it.

I may or may not have to plan for retirement, if i die at say 50, i can do just about whatever i want knowing when i will die, also ill have some fun seeing if i can test fate and die before my time (blindfold myself and walk across a busy road and maybe pick up some money with bets from it). If i knew when i would die, i would definately enjoy life more.

You can't die, but it'd be one good joke if, sure, you get hit by seven trucks and don't die -- instead, you're completely paralyzed and pretty much a vegetable.

I'd rather not know. Specially if I was told I'd die in a short period -- I would freak out and think about that only.

If it were possible, yeah, I'd like to know. That way I could know right now whether I want to even bother with certain things.

Stop trying to be clever in this topic I mean really, seriously, take a look at the subject matter at hand here. I could list stuff saying "I hang myself in the prison cell" then you will just come back to "but you'll fail to hang yourself and end up paralysed on a wheel chair waiting for your D-Day" it just won't end!

The thing is, I doubt such a selection of fate is possible, I just can't get my head around the idea. So this whole thing just turns into a simple yes or no answer since we are sying we have no control of the outcome anyway. So yes, let it be, since it turns out there is some divine force and we are not in charge of our fates, then it all seems like a pointless waiting game and I want to know when it's all over because frankly I would be bored of the whole idea.
