Movin out for the first time, or just getting a bachelor pad for a change... Would you enjoy living by yourself?

Im pretty solitary to begin with, i think it would take a year or two before i got lonely. Plus i could stay up all night and jump on the bed!

Living by yourself sounds nice at first, but when to get around to it.. its really difficult and you get really lonely.

i would love to be able to live alone. it makes me happy when my room mate goes home for the weekend. the peace and quiet is nice. can't wait until after college so i can move into my own place

I did the roommates/housemates thing for a good few years when I first moved out, but for the past three and a half years I've lived alone in a bachelor apartment and I wouldn't have it any other way. I just love having my own space, the freedom to walk around naked whenever I please :oops: and everything in here is mine. I don't need to worry about some dumbass using my pots and pans and not cleaning them afterwards ot someone else's slobby habits making the place a dump for everyone else. If I feel lonely, I just invite a friend or my girlfriend over. That and I have a pretty kick ass cat.

I would not like to live alone. I am staying in my parents house until I find a girl I really like. Then I will move in with her in an apartment, then get a house if we get married. Why waste money on your own place when you can have a free place to live and parents to cook for you and do your laundry and clean for you, etc.

Currently, I do live alone.  Though I do live close to my family, I have my own place.  It is great.

I love it for a few reasons, one of them would be the freedom to leave when I dont want to be at home to deal with whatever I need to deal with, I can just go drive and take care of things.

If I'd had the financial security for living alone when I first moved out, I probably would have.

Now I live with a roomate and he's nice and all, but sometimes I wish I was living alone.
