I really wouldnt care. And the muslims are more tolerant than most people you think. In my class there are three muslim girls and they are really nice, tolerant,open minded and they respect people christians and atheists. They are actually more tolerant than christians. Every christian y met they just insulted me just cuz im atheist ( i might atheist but i still respect every religion) and they also were constantly saying that infidel and thats just stupid. Every christian i met werejust stupid fascists.

All Christians don't go around insulting atheists...to be honest....most of us aren't that interested in your beliefs...we have our issues in life to concern us.

Even though I'm sure most Muslims are "normal", there are likely enough radical muslims to cause a world of **** for Christans. So, no thanks , I like my head where it is.nohabs

Funny, I'm sure that many Muslims living in this country feel the same way about how they are treated by evangelicals and other conservative Christians (see Guantanamo, etc.). Replace each instance of "Muslim" with "Christian" (and vice versa) in your quote above, and throw in "...without a sack over it." at the end,and you'll get my drift. :twisted:

One big difference, though, is that much as some may think so, we in the US don't have a radically conservative religious government like in many Muslim countries, through which the more fundamentalist elements of Christianity can push their agenda unhindered. As a Christian, I'd still think that it would be safer to be a Muslim in this country than if I were to go live in say, Pakistan (though Turkey may be a better example for this comparison).
