Topic in title.

Since I didn't have enough room in the title, I want to elaborate: the person you're trying to impress is someone you're very interested in. Like your definition of the perfect, ideal person for you.

Also, It doesn't have to be something too drastic either, like murder. Just something that'll, at the very least, have you second guessing your actions.

What are we talking here? As it stands the question's too broad, because everyone has a different moral compass. We need a scenario, like "would you ever steal to impress someone you like?"

It happened once in the past. I'm a very tough person when it comes to my morals and convictions so it was something very unusual and against my nature. Later on I discovered how it was one of the worst and dumbest things I've ever done. You should never alter yourself for someone else, its just not worth it. That and the fact that its counterproductive even in your pursuit to impress that one you originally altered yourself for. Its a lose-lose situation.

Really, it's too broad? Huh...

Well, I said something that would make you second guess your actions. I mean, whatever that might be is completely dependent on you, personally. So if you wanna use stealing as a scenario you can. Or if you're the type of person who'd regret doing something a little lighter than that, like teasing and hurting someone feelings, there's always that too.

I figured wording my question like I did would make every answer I got a bit more unique, in a sense. :?

If you're doing anything you're uncomfortable with to impress someone, it isn't worth it.

If your "ideal" requires you to go against your moral values then you have some contradictions that you need to work out.

Ackad

A person being nearly ideal/perfect has to share both stance and personality that's similiar to yours; both must share nearly the same traits. Going against your morals to impress someone you're interested in is hypocritical and shows that one's heart is going after beauty as opposed to personality (etc.).

So it's ok to only go for sex, as long as you make it clear that's all you're going for. Which I agree with. That way it can't bite you in the ass later when the girl gets emotional when you told her not to.

There are too many variables involved with this question to answer it.

Silly idea, there is no such person in the real world.

If I need to do something against my morals to impress a girl, then clearly she isn't the right girl for me. SO no I would not.

That doesn't work because stealing doesn't go against everyone's morals.

Musta been some good puss.  There is no other reason to go againts your morals for a girl.  I've seen that girl that I've thought to myself "I just wanna do that and I wouldn't care what it takes"
