WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?
'
My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.
THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER IT'll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine ? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home . On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe
China.

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France , Germany , and Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bon
ne chance, mezamies.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York

A special note to our neighbors.
Canadais on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2 its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra thousand tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put 'em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska- which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, 'darn tootin.'

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America It is time to eliminate homelessness in America . To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America .. Thank you and good night.

Maybe cut a bit on funding to Israel. We need to learn to be a bit more independent. Or at least divert it to care for the Palestinians. Heck, probably half the money would go to making sure that it'll be the civilians that get the care, instead of this or that organization pocketing it.

Your on crack if you think those issues are that simplified. Dont' you think if they WERE that simplified they'd be resolved so easily? I'm so tired of you cowards wanting to ditch the helpless Iraqi's because YOU don't like it. Get on youtube, watch videos where soldiers are asked what they think of the war and situation. I bet 80% of what you see will say they support the war and Bush.

I kinda agree that we should stay out of other courntries, but as a world superpower, and the fact tthat we would totally screw up the world economy if we did that, would be a bad idea on our part.

We americans are so spoiled. If we were a country surpressed by our own goverment, killed, murdered, unfed and unclothed, and other rich, powerful countries sat back and watched, what would you feel? Helpless, lost? Now, how would you feel if you saw a rich powerful country come into your town for the first time just to liberate you and your family? I think it would be pretty awesome. But no, we worry about ourselves and our economy. Our morals are trash. It's sad.

Well, the US military hegemony relies heavily on European willingness, which is currently fading away. If the US were to cut ties with France and Germany it would directly affect it's relationship with the European Union since they're the two leading powers. It would be extremely foolish for the US to cut ties with the EU (the only political body capable of matching the US in military power) when China and Russia are gaining more and more economical and political influence.

I'd say that international "friendship" is a key factor for the US in today's international landscape. That's just my opinion though.

I appreciate what you say and respect those are your feelings, however I feel its promoting negative media for our president and choices this country has made to help a helpless nation that no other country cared enough about to pursue.

OK. What I got out of this letter was a way to express our feelings to all the ungrateful countries out there whom already hate the US. Cutting them off from the aid money we spend on themand basicially saying your on your own. It would send a huge message.

I am sick of our country being the patsy of the world. Our leaders need more backbone and less PC crap.

Well if we're using the US as the example.....in defending yourself you don't have to worry about the opinions about other countries...I assume you're referring to Iraq here. That would be military actions not defensive. I stuck to defensive though.

Because no country can 100% support it's self in every way. For instance a large natural disaster. And for the progression of the world and the need of unity it's important to have support and friendship from other countries, because at the end of the day we are all the same but living on different piece's of dirt.

Aha I see.

Hmm, but what about oil and such issues? I don't know much about the US's oil reserves, but if you're capable of drilling your own oil and re-specialize the private sector (for the returning jobs from China and such nations) I suppose international reputation wouldn't matter as much as it currently does.

We have the oil...we just don't drill. Just found a lot more actually. Though to be honest...I'd hold off on that myself until the rest of the world is almost depleted.

Something quite cold and insanely pro American about you recently.0

Because no country can 100% support it's self in every way. For instance a large natural disaster. And for the progression of the world and the need of unity it's important to have support and friendship from other countries, because at the end of the day we are all the same but living on different piece's of dirt.
swizz-the-gamer

We generally handle our own disasters. And if we did pull back the money given to other countries...we'd be better off economically. Note: I'm not advocating that....

Well don't blame LJS, I'd say its because of the contrast. OT has become extremely anti-American, my logic won't let me keep up with it.

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't appreciate a large majority of that speech coming true. I also know that things aren't that simple and most would result in misfortunes for the United States in the short and long term.

I'm pro-American. It's not so hard once you learn to look past the various administrations.

Can say the same about China and the EU.

The US has its flaws...but no country is perfect.

I don't support any country that sells arms or supports African dictators.

I think you'd be better off and more accurately saying that you are anti-American government. I doubt if 99.5% of the country had a hand in what you talk about. The balance of the problems in the United States can be found in virtually all other countries.

I call it either depending on who I'm talking to actually. Apathy is how countries fail...
