It's a Tim Burton film. What do you expect? :?Hexagon_777
Tim Burton didn't do Coraline.
Anyhoo, I'd describe it as a horror film for kids.

It's a Tim Burton film. What do you expect? :?Hexagon_777Not Time Burton ;). It was done by the guy who helped do Burton's Nightmare before Christmas and Corpse Bride. Getting back to the movie, I didn't find it creepy at all, or even scary. I did think it was an entertaining one.
Both. It's about a girl who finds a doorway in her house that leads to another world with her "Other Mother," who has buttons for eyes.I haven't seen it, but now I'm interested. What's so creepy about it? The art or the story?

I swear I saw Tim Burton written on the movie poster at the cinema back in 2009. :cry:Hexagon_777It said "From the Director of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas." The Director of that was Henry Selick. Tim Burton was the producer and the creator. Henry Selick directed "Coraline," with Burton being uninvolved.
I'm confused by the number of people who didn't find it the least bit creepy. What other word would you use to describe buttons sewn into eyes?

not only that, but also the part when the cat chases an adorable mice and he kills it, and when the mice dies it becomes a huge and nasty rat and throws up some yellow crapI'm confused by the number of people who didn't find it the least bit creepy.
