Yo guys a question about a new phone plan.

I would call verizon but it's a little late for that. Anyway...I'm on a family plan and my parents pay about $150 a month all together. If I were to upgrade to a new phone and that phone requires a $30 data plan...would the only extra fee per month be that $30 and nothing else? For example, it would turn to $180 a month?

I'm not sure about verizon but that is how it is with AT&T. I got family plan for 119 and pay an extra 25 bucks for the data plan on my phone.
