seriously, all rappers have good songs, all rappers make a ton of **** songs ( cmon, the only 2 guys I know that had a bunch of good songs on their cd were eminem and kanye west graduation ). but 50 cent has a good rapping voice, and makes good rapping lyrics, the way that he raps is so different than other rappers. In eminems new song hes sooo good in that, im king kong, get rolled on, viet nam ring the alarm im so calm, somethin like that but u guys are sooooooo. 50 cent is one of the best rappers yoqwertyu
Errr...... not really.
His lyrics are especially terrible.
You're a shame to hip hop heads everywhere. You try to encourage the common folk to listen to him, when it appears you have only started to recently yourself. The lines you've quoted of him were terrible, so either listen to Get Rich or Die Trying and Power Of The Dollar and try again, or cease and give up. Also, Graduation was terrible compared to College Dropout and Late Registration. As 'Ye would say, You looosssssseeeee. Phantom_JI must disagree, I liked graduation more than Late registration.
i don't hate 50 cent, all i hate is the fact that his lyrics have gotten worse since get rich or die tryinmlbslugger86he sounds like a cat with it's balls in a vice. :P

As 'Ye would say, You looosssssseeeee. qwertyuI didnt start listening to 50 cent, kid, I listened to In Da CLUB on my $300 cd/walkman that I got for christmas at night while listening to FM radio like 7 years ago when he was first getting famous and everyone liked him, so u are a shame to telling people to be ashamed Great, so you had an expensive CD player and ran across his BIGGEST hit on the radio, congratulations. Did you listen to the rest of the album, or Power of the Dollar? Regardless of your response, the sample lines you posted were terrible compared to lyrics of his in songs like Ghetto Quaran. That's FACT. And actually, he had a record deal before In Da Club, but because he got shot up, the label dropped him before he could release anything.
He is exploiting black culture, causing untold numbers of people from inner citites to think that killing, guns, promiscuity, etc are cool, he tries to act like a thug when he partially owned a water bottling company... I can go onsuperheromonkeyStop saying rap music creates violence, violence created rap music.
But on 50 hip-hop fans hate him, because he came into the music industry criticizing rappers who sold out and went pop, then he the exact same thing. Rock fans hate him because he's a rapper. I went from liking him, to disliking him, and now i'm indifferent. GRODT, Beg For Mercy, and the mixtapes were good though to me and most hip-hop fans.
[QUOTE="Jerell_rast"]His lyrics are content-free. He can make great party beats though. Phantom_J50 doesn't make any of his beats. not true. He help with Ayo Technology along with Timbaland.

You said 50 promoted killing, guns, promiscuity in the inner city. Those thing were already there years before 50 cent and they aren't going anywhere.[QUOTE="qwertyu"]seriously, all rappers have good songs, all rappers make a ton of **** songs ( cmon, the only 2 guys I know that had a bunch of good songs on their cd were eminem and kanye west graduation ). but 50 cent has a good rapping voice, and makes good rapping lyrics, the way that he raps is so different than other rappers. 50 cent is a Hooker. all he does is make hooks.
as a lyrical rapper?... to be honest qwertyu it sounds like you've only just mastered the basics of english if you truly believe 50 cent makes good rap lyrics.
there are alot of rappers who can rap about nothing and have sick metaphores and others who can rap about a subject and just not have any punchlines. 50 cent has NONE. as a commercial entertainer, yeah he's sick no doubt. But as a Rapper? as a rapper who uses lyrics???...
can someone finish this sentence off for me please?

You said 50 promoted killing, guns, promiscuity in the inner city. Those thing were already there years before 50 cent and they aren't going anywhere. That is certainly a pessimistic outlook on the issue.no look " if u were smart you'd be shook of me cause ill get tired of lookin for u, spray ur mommas crib and have ur ass come look for me " OHHHHHHH!!!qwertyuI wasn't certain if this was a troll or not until this.

It's the truth and what one rapper says or does won't change it.
I guess you can predict the future with absolute certainty then, congrats on that. I never said if fifty cent stopped rapping that it would change anything. I simply said I don't like fifty cent for his exploitation of the black, inner city community. He is definitely not contributing to make it any better that is for sure. superheromonkey
How is he exploiting them when the largest consumers of his music are suburban teenage kids, and honestly it's not his jobs to make it better. It would be nice he did, but it's not his job.

Maybe that is true, but i also think that gives me every right to not like him as an artist or as a person.[QUOTE="Ace_WondersX"][QUOTE="superheromonkey"]I guess you can predict the future with absolute certainty then, congrats on that. agreed.
Maybe you didn't read the TOU, but discussions in OT are not allowed to end with agreements, only name calling and flaming. :x

Maybe that is true, but i also think that gives me every right to not like him as an artist or as a person.I do think rap music has changed the way some kids think. They think that the only way to be cool is by saying the n word in every sentence. I using the ids at my high school as an example.
But the ones who take the music seriously and actually do indulge in activities such as prostitution and murder are the ones who turn into gangsters and do jail time
why be a closed minded idiot when you can listen to both? Why listen to rap when you can listen to METAL!!!!!!!
hail satan
