Yeah, I wish I could remember which presidential candidate it was who, when all the other people being asked that question said things like "my favorite book" or whatever, said "... a boat!?" Edit: And I'd want a frozen donkey wheel, a smoke monster and John Locke in my pocket.

A map, a Compass and a axe. Food and water could be found on the island, by chopping down trees I could make a raft and when I finally set sail the Map and compass would help me to reach the closest inhabitated and civilized island.
