Yes, to the extent of probability for more life to exist beyond Earth in the universe.
No, in regards to the ideas that high tech alien lifeforms have interected with humanity in our history

UFOs, aliens who have visited earth? No. Other life forms in the universe? Yes. SaintLeonidas
This.
When you consider the size of this galaxy alone (just one of billions) it becomes inconceivable that there isn't more life out there. How much of it is intelligent? Probably a very small percentage. Is there a Star Trek/Star Wars amount of intelligent species in one galaxy? I highly doubt it.
It's pretty hard to believe when you think about it rationally why any civilization capable of interstellar travel would take any interest in us. We're anything but special. Then again maybe they want to watch the inevitable collapse of another intelligent species firsthand.
you honestly must be pretty stupid to believe we are the only intelligent beings in this infinitely large universemingmao3046this is my standpoint on this matter, but there's always the possibility of us actually being the only ones (which would make things way less interesting:()
Maybe there are some within our solar system, but they are invisible to our telescopes and radars because they have Ethereal bodies?
I believe, and hope there is some sort of microscopic life on Europa!Chicken453
If there isn't we'll probably put some there. There are already plans to put a bioengineered algae on Mars with the next several years (Very first steps of a terraforming that will take hundreds or even thousands of years). Haven't heard anything about it in a while though.

Oh wow, is there an article on that? It's pretty hard to believe when you think about it rationally why any civilization capable of interstellar travel would take any interest in us. They probably know that if they come near Earth, humans will shell the f*ck out of their ships once thy're in clear range.[QUOTE="SaintLeonidas"]UFOs, aliens who have visited earth? They tweaked our DNA and made us weak in ancient times...
Cut the link we had with higher planes of existence.
the universe is probably lousy with lifeforms.
i bet you can't swing a dead nebula without hitting one.
i do not believe any of them have ever visited us though.

Interesting to see that article, however I feel it may be a bit bogus because Mars doesnt have a strong enough gravitational pull to hold an atmosphere and if I remember correctly, the core is effectively dead; meaning there is little to no magnetic field. I saw a program on how if we were to live on mars, it would to have to be in basically huge greenhouses/domes to support the atmosphere, although the average age of humans would be only around 35.[QUOTE="Boddicker"][QUOTE="Chicken453"]I believe, and hope there is some sort of microscopic life on Europa!o0squishy0o

It looks like it got cut as usual. I found an article that a scientist is attempting to do just that, but it was dated this year.
There are several huge problems: Radiation, lack of water, and Mars lacks the density to hold onto any oxygen that would be produced (it would eventually drift off into space).
One day the last human will die when the Earth is an irradiated wasteland.

....orly?
How do you know that for sure?

Yeah but I think they don't really know or even care about us.
We might as well be ants to them. They might be a little curious but there'd be no reason to contact us.

Ehh, I'm assuming that you are an atheist or agnostic (correct me if I'm wrong), but it seems a bit hypocritical to believe in aliens (which we have no proof of) and then deny Christianity because there is no substantial proof.

We can actually see the planets and stars in the sky, and just playing the odds it's a very safe bet that there are aliens.
We can't see God, heaven, hell, angels, or any the other musings that ancient humans used to explain the natural world.
I think there's life outside of Earth. But, I think they'll be more of the microbes variety until I see otherwise.

No one can be 100 percent sure of alien life until we discover it... IF we discover it, that is. However, the mathematical likelihood of the existence of extraterrestrial life is very high:

The God hypothesis has no such basis.
