You cannot take pictures inside at some stores?????

Today, I went to the Pet Smart shop, and I took a tons of pictures of animals.
After that, I went to the BestBuy store to take some pictures too, and one of the employers saw what I was doing, he warned me that I must not do that or he will ask me to leave, and he asked me to delete the one I just took.
WTF, is that fair?
