You Ever Go For A Jog At Like 3 A.M. At Night?

the suburbs are very disturbing places at night; you see the weirdest things..it's quiet and ominous, feels like you're being watched. despite this its not uncommon for me to take a stroll throughout the neighborhood at 3 a.m on some nights. you might see some drunk teens walking home from a party, cops driving around trying to mess with aforementioned teens, a raccoon rummaging through someone's trash, that random old guy walking his dog. but the worst of them all is the slow moving cars with tinted windows that seem like they're stalking you.

this one time there was this white van with tinted windows that was driving real slow behind me. i had my ipod and was trying my best to ignore it but it was driving really slowly with its blaring headlights slowly creeping up behind me. after a little while it veers left across from me but still driving slow. the window comes down and the passenger throws something at me, like liquid from a bottle trying to splash me or something. then the car speeds up and drives off with its **** muffler sound. didn't get a good look at who it was and i assumed it was just some punk kids. douchbags

No. Especially if I'm on my own.

Though I once went for a walk around the block with my friend sometime last Christmas at around 12am :P

this neighborhood i used to live in was quite creepy, an old, outdated place it was, still walked around at night though cause ima night owl. even though where i live now is more modernized, its still kinda weird at night.

no, id never bother jogging that late. id just do it right before i take shower in the morning.

i dont think suburbs are creepy at night either, although maybe somebody who spends most of their life in cities that always bustle would find the quiet unsettling. i think its kind of serene.

I'd never jog in the middle of the night. Get your metabolism all speeded up and then how would you ever get to sleep?

If you went out at 3:00 AM around here all you'd see would be a few long-haul truckers going down the highway. And maybe our newspaper guy, he delivers at 2:00 AM for some reason. Other than that it's quiet as a tomb.

Never that late, but I often walk my dog around 11. I find it quite peaceful, but I do know what you mean about those ominous cars.

I ran across the Williamsburg bridge around 1am... and around prospect park around 6am

^both those times were when I was coming back from doing illegal activities and I wanted to get whatever was in me, out my system.

Only time I ever jog at 3 AM is when a bunch of people are out there to mug me.

It's fun, but normally am too lazy by 3:00 am to go for a run.

Yes, I was working the midnight to 8 AM through January and would hit the gym when I wasn't working.

I did once out of necessity because I was too drunk to drive. I got jumped and woke up 7 hours later in the woods. Wouldn't recommend it.
