You guys think this would be a lil bit cold?

I was checking facebook, and one of my friends, a classmate (girl), not a very big friend either posted "my dog just died...im D-E-P-R-E-C-E-D"

I was going to reply with ""depreced" has no C; its Depression"

but maybe thats a bit cold...what would be your reaction if you would be in that girl's place and you saw that comment?

You could say something like "good, I hated that dog" or "Nice spelling (sarcasm). So now you're depressed AND stupid." or the ever reliable "lol".

You also have the option of not saying anything.

I reckon a faint smile would cross my lips and I'd be around 10% more likely to sleep with whoever wrote that.jimmyjammer69

Why would that be cold? If I were them, I would want to know the correct spelling because I don't like being ignorant. Sure, I'd still be very unhappy about my dog, but I'd still want to know what was correct.

Kinda cold but I would be tempted to correct her.

The little smiley at the end is essential for confusion which will maker her feel worse.

But seriously I would just reply something nice, no one likes getting a reply as stupid as a spelling correction when they are sad and want support.

She's probably really pretty and way out your league, so your attacking her puncuation because it's the only chance you got to hurt her back for all the torment she causes you. That face, those sparkling eyes like diamonds, all her friends (she has way more then you)she accepted you but you can never be close, that pic with her and her boyfriend, the one who can take you in a fist-fight, you know she will never be yours so you don't want her to be anyones!
