Seems like every 6 months someone from my high school ends up dead, its been at least 10 that died since I graduated in 09, sh*t is creepy and sad

I'm 37, quite a few of them have dropped for various reasons. It sucks but that's life...not everyone makes it to old age.
Averaging around 1 a year for my graduating class, ranging from suicide to gunshot to drunk driving.
A classmate of mine died in a motocycle crash and one of my best friends brother commited suicide.
Damn, suicide seems to be somewhat common :?
From what I can think of right now, one committed suicide and another one got a basketball goal falling on him.
During my undergraduate college days a classmate from a Chemistry class was accidentally drowned during a field trip that he had to undertake as part of a Geology course. Â He was swept away by a fast-moving river and nobody was able to rescue him.
I remember the Chemistry class' receiving the news with disbelief and pitching in to buy a sympathy gift for his parents. Â :(
I also remember that I'd had an argument with him over a chemistry "practical" that he accidentally ruined and that I didn't get a chance to smooth over hurt feelings before his untimely death. Â
Yep, car accident a year ago. He was speeding and hit a pole. He was a friend of a friend. Was pretty sad really.
Can't name anyone off the top of my head, but my town has a huge drug problem with lots of younger people OD'ing all the time so I am sure someone was lost that way.
Oh and way back in Middle school I had a classmate who got hit by a car and died. It was really sad as she was a really cool person who managed to be friends with people from all different groups and she was also fairly athletic and I think could have done something in sports.
One died because he got hit by a car an nobody called an ambulance.
Another died due to the brain damage he received from abusing ecstasy. I'm sure others have died that I never heard about. My highschool had problems with meth, heroin, alcohol and prescription drug abuse. I'm surprised I do not know about more classmates dying, TBH...
One suicide. I didnt really like him but I do miss him. He seemed so happy so it was really unexpected. another one attempted suicide but she didnt go through with it thank God. Wtf is with all the suicides in this thread?! DepressingCapitan_KidDidn't really like this dude in my class in middle school and he was killed in the beginning of 8th grade, felt bad after I found out.

When someone dies people sure do change their tune. Im pretty sure the dude in my grade wasnt all that liked but when he kicked the bucket everyone was sad.
Yes.
Girl who went to the same school as I did was kidnapped, raped, and murdered. Pretty famous case, actually.
There was also another person I knew who died of a medication overdose, I think.
Only one comes to mind, and it was back when I was in elementary school. A kid in my grade ended up getting crushed to death by a bunch of wooden boards when he was visiting his dad at his dad's workplace. His dad worked at a lumber yard or something.
Didn't really talk much to that kid back then. He was kind of jerk if I remember correctly, but still. What a way to go, at such a young age too.
Â
Close. Two of them were in a car accident and weren't wearing seat belts; they had severe injuries, but lived.
(ld best friend of mine was into stealing and got caught up in some stuff was found in Magnolia in New Orleans with his head cut off...pretty common shit tho..
A dear school friend got blown to pieces by a chopper some 6 years ago. He was only 18.GazaAliMilitary??
Graduated highschool in 1999 in Littleton, Colorado. Â While I didn't go to Columbine I had some friends that did, luckily all of them survived. Â Same day that the tragedy happened, a lesser known fact is that the kids left pipe bombs in front of the school I went to and one other which never went off. Â It was a shitty day to say the least...Â
Yes, about seven. One died in a mortocycle accident, two were shot(not related), one suicide, and I don't remember what the other three died of. All of them apart from two happened in 2011.
Edit: I just remembered another friend from school who killed himself by jumping in front of a subway train back in June of this year.
