Now you have no choice, 3 years ago everyone was against the war..but now you have to be for it because Iran is an imminent threat. We leave, Iran moves in and bam.

Iraq is a majority Shi'ite country controlled by Sunni government, Iran is controlled by a Shi'ite government.

Do the math

America should leave. they are loosing 100 billion each year on this war, and there is a limit on how many billions America could pump. This war could weaken America. This is not good because China's economy is growing stronger each year. If the US and China go at it in the future then..... well you do the math.

Of course they dont have a conventional military, but they do have guerilla fighters and you know how hard it is to deal with them.

Yeah but it's been said that we would surround Iran and monitor them if they actually start a war. With all our technology decades ahead of theirs, it's cake.

If we just up and leave it proves that we are weak and can't finish a job. I'm not for the war at all but just leaving is proving we can't handle a job anymore. And if you're worried about China then grow up. We wouldn't go to war with a country that provides us many of our goods. Its like us attacking Saudi Arabia, although we only get roughly 20% of our oil from them it would still be a big mistake.

Considering we were the ones who blow everything to hell, I agree.

We just can't leave but someone has to admit there were no insurgents there before we were there. This whole war is dumb as hell. I mean I can understand going after Saddam but not for WMD, we should've been more diplomatic and tried him for crimes against humanity. War was not necessary in Iraq if we just wanted Saddam gone.

This topic has F*** America all over it. Ignoring your opinion on the war on Iraq, the mere fact that people don't support it is a mere embarrassment to what they consider the vanity of those soldiers lives. So regardless of whether were there is right or wrong, you have serious problems if you think for everyone that died can be insulted if we, the US, leave. Itd be so wrong, and id lose all faith in the government regardless of who it is. The people that want to pull out, have no respect for what is going on and have no regards for life, and deserve much worse, because they are generally the peope who live in a generally stress free, low problematic life. These people have low respect for life. Some people might point out that further lives are to be lost, but i can't understand how you can justify someones life to accomplish very little.

The war in Iraq was already won.....however, the problem we are dealing with is insurgents. You are assuming that I care if Iran overruns Iraq as well.... maybe the rest of the world can deal with that one.
