No, I mean in the same kind of metal-album-cover style.
Hubble Deep Field wins (right click->view image to see in ~3000x3000 pant-wetting goodness).

Let me assist you, good sir, with the help of Cracked.com
"Right now, on your computer screen, are approximately 10,000 galaxies.
Each of those galaxies contains anywhere from ten million to one trillion stars.
The average star is roughly a million times the size of Earth.
And yet, with all that junk, the Universe is more than 90 percent empty space.
All of that, in this tiny photo. A photo that took 400 orbits and 800 exposures to take.
And the kicker? The photo covers one thirteen-millionth of the entire night sky."

I have to read that book. You'll be surprised to see how many metal bands took names out of that book.
The artist is Ted Nasmith, he draws Tolkien-inspired stuff since the 1970s.

Cracked can put my impression in words much eloquently than I: "It's the only thing on earth that gives the Devil nightmares. It's what would happen if natural disasters could bolt together Voltron-**** It's the single, best way that nature can give you the finger. It's like every single AC/DC album cover came to life and punched your eyeballs right in the dick."
The picture is epic.
