You scroll down OT and mindlessly stare at topic titles like this one...

...and now you've clicked on it. Apart from topics sharing a common interest (i.e. football, favorite singer, ylyl, news you want to know more about etc.) with you, what makes you click on a topic? Is it it's title? Is it its post count? Or are you just bored?

Funny how this popped in my head, because I realized I only enter threads (to post, not to watch) which have either very few messages or a hell of a lot of messages (500+). I tend to lurk and watch a few threads if they seem interesting, but rarely post in them. I post in threads which have 10 to 20 posts mostly, either to begin a conversation or...I dunno, I like chatting with few people. On the other hand threads with a gazillion of posts tend to get out of hand and get into frenzy situations...which is why I like them :P

So I hope I'm not the only one who has spotted this thing.

Yeah, it's the title. But sometimes, too, I will just look for low post counts. I dunno why, I just kinda do.

Topic title..I no longer enter political or religous threads for the most part. Then post count I like being one of the first to post so I don't say the same things someone else did. Then I look at the TC.

Because I hoped there would be something interesting inside. Looks like I was wrong.

I post in almost every topic on the front page usually.

Ahhh yeah....

I tend to enter threads that interest me or if the title makes me a bit curious as to what it's about......much like this one.......so here I am. Job well done :P

I look for interesting titles and low post counts unless I'm really bored like I am now. I lurk quite a bit, but not as much as I used to. :/
