I was curious, are there any Young Earth Creationists here? And for those who are not, what do you think of this belief?

I am an "old-world" beleiver, with the all the big-bang stuff. Personally,I think you would have to be pretty foolish to beleive in the whole "New-World" idea.

Here we go again. Taking all bets, this thread may go the distance. How will it end? Another WW2 debate, or the existance of aliens? Find out.

i am., i believe the Bible is absolute truth, and i pretty much take it literally, so when it says "the world was created in 6 days, i believe it means six DAYS.,, not millions of years

I have a prolem with being "told" what to believe. And if I don't believe in that then I am a bad christian. Also, I have read the entire bible, and I do not think it should be taken literally.

the earth was created 10 minutes ago, everything moves really fast, but our minds are not developed enough to live in time so our subconcious takes in information and plays it back in our minds in slow motion

and no one can prove me wrong

There is only one? I'm surpirsed since almost half of all Americans believe the Earth is less than 10,000 years old.

New-Earth people are tools. Simple as that. I mean, they're tools of religion. And there's nothing metaphoric about it or anything, just they believe their religion tells them to disagree with it so they do. These people are not interested in the truth.

No, I came to that conclusion after alot of research. But when I went to church, the priest told the mass, "If you don't believe in everything the bible says, you will go to hell and burn fo eternity." That is exactly what he said.

Half of Americans just don't believe in evolution. There's a difference. The number is not that high for those who believe the world is less than 12,000 years old.

Here's where i DO believe in scientific proof. Carbon dating proves the earth is more than 10,000 years old. Foolproof scientific testing.

It's a group of creationists who believe the Earth is somewhere between 6,000 and 10,000 years old.
