At 16 years, I would go as low as 14, but thats a stretch. Also, if you use the "half your age and add 7 years" it goes to 15.

I'm nearly 22 and would rather date someone near to my own age or older right now. I would be perfectly fine dating an 18 year-old but she and I would be in different life positions, her possibly just starting post-secondary education and me nearly finished. Not that we couldn't make things work, I would just prefer to date someone my age and financially independent (being 18 and financially independent in my city/province is a rare feat).foxhound_fox

So that's the youngest person I would date.
