that's all i can think of right now i might edit if i remember something.
I've only seen a two that I can remember, so I'll tell you those I guess.
-Blackhawk Down
-Der Untergang------- EPIC MOVIE about Hitler's last days in his bunker. And thank god they speak German, not English...
Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbor, Behind Enemy Lines, Black Hawk Down, The PatriotNgamer05Oh, I forgot about Pearl Harbour and Behind Enemy Lines. Pearl Harbour seemed kind of thrown together, though. And wasn't Behind Enemy Lines more of an escape movie than an actual war movie?
9th Company. I think its spelt 9th POTH in its native language.
Band of Brothers
We Were Soldiers
Saving Private Ryan
Black Hawk Down
Did you just mean World War II movies? Well, I'll list just war movies:
Saving Private Ryan.
The Patriot.
Troy.
Gladiator.
Jarhead.
Those are really the only ones I can think of. I haven't seen 300 yet.

It's set in a war like atmosphere, so it's a war movie to me ;)

Yeah I guess. I thought it was a war movie before I saw it, which is why I rented it.Has anybody mentioned Star Wars or Harry Potter? Both have wars, but different than this context...
My top 5 favorite war movies are.
- Black Hawk Down
- Band of Brothers
- Behind Enemy Lines
- Full Metal Jacket
- Flags of Our Fathers
Obviously Saving Private Ryan, it redefined war movies as we know them.
Jarhead, in my opinion, was phenomenal simply because it focused on something that most war movies don't- the psychological battle of being deployed overseas.
Apocolypse Now was one of the most unique war movies I've ever seen, definately a must see.
I'm not a big fan of war movies, so you only get those 3.
1.Band of Brothers. (Even though its a miniseries.)
2.The Pianist. (Even though its not about actual soldiers or combat, just a general war setting.)
3.The Sands of Iwo Jima. (John Wayne, a civilian, managed to accuratly portay a Marine sergeant.)
4.Saving Private Ryan. (Even though they're own stupidity killed them all in the end.)
5.Letters from Iwo Jima. (Clint more than made up for the abomination that was Heartbreak ridge.)
And here are some really old or obscure war movies that are well worth watching, IMHO. Seriously, watch these if you can find them!
