What is your number one favorite rock album of all time? Something you enjoy from start to finish. Not your top two or three - pick ONE!

Mine is Weezer’s Blue Album

if you asked me yesterday or tomorrow my answer might be different lol

I wouldn't really pick a best rock album because there's too many contenders but one that stands out especially is Led Zeppelin II.

I don't feel that strongly about rock, I prefer metal. Though I don't know where the line should be drawn sometimes.

1. Skylarking - XTC

2. 154 - Wire

3. Village Green Preservation Society -The Kinks

4. Chair Missing - Wire

5. Murmur - REM (This would be higher but I've played it to the point where I could get sick of it)

....and for those talking Led Zep, those 2 albums are fantastic, but I grew up in the 70's and burned out of both of them, they and Rush were my favorite bands in high school until the arrival of the punk movement. My favorite album by Zep these days is their first one from 1968.

One of the things that was cool about Zeppelin was they were equally loved by guys and gals back then, guys liked them because they were cool as **** and could be downright sexually aggressive, ladies liked them because their music was sexy and so were Page and Plant. Good music to play for your Rock g/f back then. Some day I have to see Dazed and Confused, that was my generation.

I never would have become a musician if it wasn't for The Killers "Hot Fuss". So, I have to pick that one.
