So whats the most messed up moment in your life?

Like something that you messed up really badly. For me it was today:

I had an oral exam in english the last exam of the year, i needed this to graduate. I recived the letter on friday with my topic, cool i said i have plenty of time.

You see the thing is that i thought the exam was the 16th but it was the 15th TODAY! I had to show up at 9.30 am today to give the presentation, i woke up at 11.30 thinking that i had a full day ahead of me to work on it, when i open the letter again to check my topic i see:

The exam is schedule the 15th

I m like WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF:x

At this moment i m crying my self out, i open openoffice right away and start working on my presentation. i Arrive at 12 15 to school, talk to the teacher and ask her if i can have it now, she says ok. I have it, not was i late, unprepared but i also had the wrong topic.

Needless to say i get a 1. I have to take the exam again on fall.

dropping my computer science program for a psychology program, in college.

TC, man that sucks so much.

Mine was when it was tacky day at school but I thought it was a day earlier. So I came to school with a banana suit while everyone else was in normal clothes lol

It worked out though, my principal was cool about it and said if I'm comfortable with it I can stay in school.

Once i had my exam and i thouhgt i had 4 days to prepare myself and so didn't study for first 2 days. i started studying on 3rd day but wasn't serious so didn't study much. the day of exam arrived and i had studied only half of what i had to study and wasn't even thoroughly prepared for what i had studied, i messed up the exam. but in the end all went well and i will thank God for it

Tough break Tango :( Don't worry though, you'll be on top of it next time, it's not a massive thing to have f***ed up.

I've done similar things before in life, but none recently, and I don't remember the details of any of the others no that they don't matter any more. It'll be the same for you too in the future I bet. Chin up young person.

I decided to take programming in college...what a waste of time.

I did lots of mistakes like that all through grade-school. Not so much in college, probably because paying thousands of dollars in tuition motivated me to pay attention :P

I remember senior year that I kept forgetting to write papers until they were due. Everyone else had them typed, mine were scribbled on notebook paper on the schoolbus that morning.

When I decided not to take my medication. I literally ruined my life and I ended up homeless. A lot worse than messing up some college test.

My entire relationship With my old GF... I messsed it up completely...

She broke up with me yesterday. :(

The first 2 years of college. Screwed that up real bad. Right now have a like a 2.1 GPA. Not sure what to do.

2nd year of uni, doing my end of year exams. Had an exam on the Friday and had been revising hard all week. Night before the exam checked time and place and realise I had screwed up the course codes and I had a completely different exam the next day!!! Late night revising, stress related back pain (I have never suffered back pain like that before or after), and some major panicking = exam passed with ease.

Did the same thing earlier in the year with some c/w, you think I would have learnt my lesson then!

i've actually put a date on it, in my summervacation i'm gonna' cheat on the girlfriend with a total whore, so i've got my personal biggest ****-up to look forward to : D

Ouch, that sucks man, hopefully this time you will pass it.

Anyway, for me it was at my current work, my laptop was really slow and i had a free week so i decided to take it home and give it format, i have done this plenty of times, however, this time i made a fatal mistake, because i lost near 50% maybe more of the work i already had prepared for next week by not backing up on my external HD, oh and remember that i had a free week? well the thing is that i did the format on Saturday, so i only had 2 days to recover the work for 3 months.

It truly sucked, it was even worst when i try to recover the files by using those recovery tools, and i only recovered trash, like Music, images or papers that i had already saved in the HD and hardly anything that was missing.

After that, i shut off the computer and spend the rest of the saturday and my sunday very relaxed, since there was nothing else i could do. Luckily my boss is really cool and when i explained her, while mad at first she told me that it wasn't that bad if i try to get everything done by the end of the month, so yeah, i spend 2 weeks in full time mode and finished most of the lost work by the end of the month.

Lesson learned since now i copy everything on my HDD every week, also to my PC at home, besides i have a repository online where i save everything.

i've had moments like yours, TC. i skip a class only to find out we had a test in there... what a horrible feeling. it's happened twice to me in college. also, we had online exams for one of my classes, and i thought the exam was on a thursady, but it was really on tuesday, due at 11:59pm, well on tuesday at 11:55 i double checked just to make sure it was on thursday, and when i saw it was due that night in 4 minutes, i panicked. i skimmed through the questions and put the answer that i thought sounded right, emailed it to my teacher at 12:05am, got a D on the test :D

really? he needed this to graduate. without a diploma, its near impossible to get any good job.

id say this is a pretty big f*** up.

Few things.

I would say dropping out of school,but it ain't too bad.

well mine is semi school related, but more law related.

i got in trouble with the law. endedup with a month of juvy, 3 months house arrest, 2 years probation and had to do community service. one of my darkest times. i even almost dropped out of school. not one of those things where you say" yup im gonna drop out" only to be told "No" by your parents. no, my parents even offered to hav me drop out and just get my GED, i was so close to dropping out, but something inside me just wouldnt let me. im glad i didnt drop out.

ive posted this story too much so im not going into full detail unless someone asks me to.

Probably not dropping classes that i knew I was going to fail. right now I'm getting a 2.6 overall gpa and I need a 2.5 or higher overall gpa and pass stats and managerial accounting with a C or higher to start my business core classes. And stats is really hard and on top of that I'm taking the worst professor. Managerial accounting will be the second time I'm taking it so it shouldn't be too hard. I'm just going to have to study a lot.

I've done so many its hard to think of just one. In recent time I accidentally, unintentionally let my best friend steal my girlfriend away from me. I should've not let her come along with us when we were gonna hang out. I clearly saw warnings but passed them off. It caused a lot of stupid drama and pain. Thankfully my best friend realized that our friendship is better and not worth destroying over a girl. So its all good now.

I got drunk on a school trip. That is never a good idea.

I´ve had so many. The most recent one was when I sat in the toilet and there was no paper.

Not a f*** up, but when I was 14-15 I had the bright idea of trying to pick the front door lock with a compass instead instead of waiting for my parents to come home with the keys. A piece of the compass ended up getting stuck in the lock, and we had to replace it. I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what was going on in my mind, and today I feel like I was too old to do something so blatantly idiotic. Maybe I was playing too much oblivion :P.

Anyways, I now find it pretty funny.

of all the difficult times in my life or the mistakes I've made, this one keeps me down and full of regret pretty much every day.

Well, it wasn't the best of time, I was in the train station, I had a cal :?:cry:of nature, there was no tissue paper in the toilet. I had already dumped it..I can't go on...memories...:?:cry:

I don't think I've royally f***ed up anything, but there's always room for improvement. Umm, I became very quiet after I moved, then became kind of a b****y teen and went through that stage where I thought it was cool to disrespect my parents, then I became a bit of a prude (to an excessive point). Those are some "regrets", I guess, but it's made me who I am today, and I do tend to like myself most days. Sooooo no need to dwell on the past.

If you're looking for a simple answer then not putting forth more effort in certain areas.

Did a WD40 blowtorch in the middle of science class. Made some ne friends over it, but didn't get caught.

Other than that, I F*** up all the time.

Probably not doing better in high school. Trying to knock out college a few classes here and there while keeping a full-time job I hate isn't living.
