I have no idea yet. I'm still in the process of applying to colleges. I have about 5-7 majors in mind.

What's wrong with that.. A guy's sex drive leaves him shortly after 20 anyways. Sex isn't the most important thing in my life, and it's not what I want, it's what Christ wants.. And I personally see no negative side effects to the priesthood, Priests are happier than married couples half the time..

I'm gonna be an actor, accidentally, after fleeing from a bungled robbery into a screen-casting audition and thinking the screen-test is an actual accusation. In other news, I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang last night...

I'm not bashing what you believe, whatever you want to do with your life is fine, but where did you get that stuff about sex drive only lasting until you're 20? As far as I know a person's sex life could conceivably last until after 50.

With a background and attitude like that, you are best going back into academia and refocusing your career on green/sustainable chemistry. I don't mock, I mean it.

Funny you mention that because I had taken a vocational evaluation a few years ago and that was one of the top results I recieved, pharmacy of course being the top result.

As of right now I'd like to finish my B.A. by this time next year and get into either my city's public library system or the one of the many at my university. I really just want to start something that will give me a stable income that will allow me to move out of my parents house. I wanted to get my B.Ed. after finishing my B.A. but from the looks of things, it could be another year or year and a half before I get my B.A. and having to go through another two years of university (to get my B.Ed.) after five and a half really just isn't appealing at all. I don't want to be 25 and still living at home. I want to get out on my own, have a home that I can call "mine" and then from there begin searching for a female companion. Plus... I've had it with institutionalized learning.

Working in a library isn't so bad, I do very much like books and helping people learn and I would be making twice what I do kno to start. I may eventually go back for my B.Ed. later down the road (or if I really like working in the library, get a supplementary degree in "library science" in order to receive more prestigious jobs like a "collection manager" at a university) but I've just become apathetic about my education and doubt feel that forcing myself through another 3-3.5 years of university will just yield negative results. All I've ever wanted is a home to call my own and a woman to live there with me and eventually have children with. I don't need to be rich or famous. I just want to live a modest life in a modest home.

I was just about to suggest focusing on a dead-end career as a museum curator, but your obsession with finding a female companion/servant is slightly disturbing. Perhaps the two go hand-in-hand.

Do not take this the wrong way.

You need to get out more, and possibly not mention a lifelong commitment right at the getgo every time you mention women. That tends to scare most younger women away, since a lot of them want commitment, but aren't sure yet? You know, like, every woman on the entire planet?

You think I am that naive? Of course you don't mention lifelong commitments from the start. But you eventually do get to saying that you are looking for someone with which to develop one with. I have to be honest with them. If they are in the relationship casually, then our goals for and expectations of the relationship are not the same. I don't want to date for sex... I want to find someone with whom I can develop a lasting and strong emotional bond with. Not being honest will just make things worse for the both of us.

I've been a soldier, a land surveyor, a miner, a store clerk, and a labourer in a refinery.  I had a short term contract with EA in BUrnaby to make maps for an RTS that never saw the light of day.  I've taught English and Geography in junior high, high school, and college in various countries in Europe and Asia.  I written for a military history periodical and I've worked as a researcher for a business development firm.  Most recently, I worked as a field crew supervisor for a biological consulting firm.  Most jobs were interesting, but I still haven't found one that I want to do for the rest of my life.  I'm currently back in school, studying water quality engineering.  Year and a half to go and 4 more months until our 8 month co-op term.  Who knows?  It might be the job I'm looking for, but I doubt it.  If not, I've been offered a teaching gigs from a few colleges in China.

I would like to do anything in business, my ultimate goal would to become a merchant/investment banker.
