Respecting other people's opinions and cultures. Wetall_basic
Tolerance and maturity are two different things...
Maturity is having an understanding of when to be fun-loving versus when to be serious, and then having the self-control to be able to follow that.
Maturity isn't acting like a professional adult all the time like some people think. It's simply knowing when to act like that, and when it's alright to act immature. That may be an over-simplification, but I think it's an effective enough definition.

If everyone waited for everyone else to mature, we would be in a world filled with even more *******s than our's currently is. Someone has to take the initiative to grow up and set an example.

There is no set date for maturity; it evolves and continues until death. I'd say simply that maturity is coming to terms with life, what it entails, and how one learns how to deal with it through experience. Immaturity is a combination of ignorance, naivete, and a lack of experience. Different levels of maturity exist all over the place for different people.
If I was going to list the characteristics of a mature person, they would be: humbleness, compassion, sincerity, honesty, integrity, empathy, and someone who realizes as they get older that they don't know jack ****.
Maturity is when you dont skip cutscenes in games you play for the first time just to get to the killing partKoba123
Maturity is playing the single player compaine, and not just the online one, it tears me up inside when some guy calls an elite "that alien thingy".
Maturity includes:
Typing words with the correct spelling and with proper English.
Being able to control your temper and realize what is a suitable topic to discuss.
Having well manners.
..and those are the main things that come to mind.
