I honestly can't say, simply because, most of the bands I listen to, are my guilty pleasures. I would like to say I've been listening to Black Sabbath and Tool since yesterday. Flat-out amazing.I know It's been done before and will be done again. But It's also gonna be done now.

I've been listening to Deathcore, Metalcore, Nu-Metal, Death-Metal, and Black Metal strictly for a while now -- Add a little bit of Nirvana, Radiohead, and Queen, and you've got what I've been listening to most recently. Thanks in advance !I know It's been done before and will be done again. But It's also gonna be done now.

Thanks in advance !I can't really recommend anything from thos extreme metal genres. But since you've been getting into Tool and Sabbath I could recommend some more mellow metal bands. I'd say you should check out Dream Theater. Their best song for newcomers I reckon is "Pull Me Under". If you're into Power Metal then I'd definetly recommend Blind Guardian, Stratovarius and Sonata Arctica. I'll also recommend you check out Sabbaths album "Dehumanizer". It's one of three with Ronnie James Dio on vocals. In my opinion It's their best. But It's criminally under rated by critics and fans alike
here are some of my favorite bands

My only advice is to not get bogged down in genres.
The Smiths/Morrissey, the Cure, the Chameleons, Joy Division/New Order, Opeth, My Dying Bride.
I could go on, but I'd say these are the artists I find myself listening to more than anything else.
these are my very very.....very favourites(cause they are alot):
pink floyed( david gilmour especially)
iron maiden
metallica( just not after black except death magnetic)
anathema
eric clapton
iced earth
The Black Dahlia Murder, Slayer, Frank Sinatra, Amon Amarth, NOFX, Cannibal Corpse, Dean Martin, yeah, that'll do.
I have a varied taste in music. From the beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful lyrics of Enrique Iglesias and Taylor Swift to the beautiful harmonies of the Jonas Brothers. I also LOVE Insane Clown Posse! They're so hardcore!
Nevermore, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Megadeth, Machine Head, Behemoth, Dismember, Rotting Christ, Death, Immolation, Morbid Angel, Testament, Slayer, Amon Amarth, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, Satyricon, Gorgoroth, Deicide, Carcass, Suffocation, Possessed, etc, etc, etc...
You silly bear ! You got me, now, admit it was a joke. The least you can do.I have a varied taste in music.
