Your favorite death/black metal bands

Over the past 3 years I grew out of stuff like Korn, Slipknot, latter Metallica. Then I went to more musical stuff like Megadeth, early Metallica, Shadows Fall, Dragonforce, Led Zeppelin, Children of Bodom, Symphony X etc. I still like the previous bands but now I'm also into the extreme stuff like Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Death, Suffocation, Deicide, and so on. I used to think these bands sounded really bad but I've gotten used to the brutal heavy sound. Alot of people laugh at these bands for the growling vocals and stuff, I wish they'd find the excitment and stuff in them.

Soo what are some of your favorite extreme metal bands

Lamb of God, Ankla, and Cannibal Corpse when the mood takes me.  As for black metal, I occasionally listen to Cradle of Filth.

Death - Demilich, Cryptopsy, Gorguts, and Necrophagist I suppose

Black - Satyricon, Nachmystium, Kampfar, and Emperor I suppose

i don't really listen to alot of black, or death metal (i perfer symphonic, power, and folk metal) but my favorite is probably Children of Bodomdante_123456

I think Satyricon is the Biggest Black Metal band these days

not really. there are many different types. it depends on what you like. but anyways, i like dimmu borgir a lot. they have some really ownage songs. and behemoth, gorgoroth, and cradle of filth are good too.
