If you are a rock fan, what are some of your favorite guitar solos? My favorite is Stairway to Heaven, and next would probably be Dazed and Confused. Some others are Master of Puppets, Paradise City, and Freewheel Burning.

I like the one from "The Hell Song" by Sum 41. And it's not really a "solo," but I love the riff in "Seeing Double at a Triple Rock" by NOFX. 8)

Off the top of my head I'd probably have to say the bark at the moon solo is at least one of my favorites.

They're all cut and pasted harmonic minor solos. I'd enjoy Necrophagist more if they didn't follow such a formulaic song structure.

Solos I enjoy:

The Faceless - Leica
uneXpect - The Shiver - Meet Me At The Carousel
Eric Clapton - Layla
John Butler - OceanEric Mongrain - Airtap
If I don't stop now, I'll start listing songs I hate for their solos.
