For me it would either be The Protector or Chocolate. Anything Tony Jaa touches becomes awesome.

Police Story. Greatest Jackie Chan film of all time, in my opinion. I did enjoy Drunken Master, though.

Enter the Dragon.

There was another movie about a blind swordsman - can't remember if it was Japanese or Chinese or it's name but that was good too.

That would be Zatoichi which is a Japanese series of theatre and TV movies starring the late great Shintaro Katsu. Though there's a good chance you might have seen the recent movie remake of the Zatoichi character starring the semi-legendary Takeshi Kitano.

Oh wow - thanks alot.

My wife and I watched it late one night, but have not been able to find the name...until now.

It was the 1989 version and one of the best martial arts movies I have seen.

I'll leave wuxia movies (Crouching Tiger, Hero, House of Flying Daggers etc.) out of this as they are more about drama, beautiful visuals and dancing than martial arts. I'm a big fan of 36th Chamber of Shaolin with Gordon Liu. Other notable mentions are Enter the Dragon, both Drunken Masters, Shaolin Temple and Five Deadly Venoms.

I like Rush Hour I can't stand low budget kung-fu flicks that have voiceovers though. Way of the Dragon was incredibly corny.

Martial arts is one of my all time favorite genres so I do not just have ONE favorite.

In no particular order.

1) All Bruce Lee films (excluding Game of Death...only footage worth watching is the last 20 with him in it)

2) Both Drunken Master films.

3) Shoalin vs Wu Tang

4) The One Armed Swordsman

5) Jet Li: Fist of Legend, Once Upon A Time In China, Fearless.

6) Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (best of the previous decade)

7) Iron Monkey

8) Ip Man (tied with best of last decade)

9) Tony Jaa: The Protector / Ong Bak

I really like the unfinished version of Game of Death that was included in the documentary Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey. It's short but I think it represents the best of what Bruce Lee could've become if he were still alive. He's so cocky and funny, and the fight choreography as well as the cinematography looks fantastic.

I can only imagine how sick the genre would still be if he were alive...working behind the camera, doing pretty much everything.

Any Jackie Chan movie. Well, especially the one that had pirates in it. I'm not sure I remember the name. I think it's called Project A. It's an old movie, but tons of action and humor.

I wish Jackie Chan had more serious movies as he got older :/

Young Master is another great one with him in it.

True, but I guess you can count in New Police Story; it had a serious story mixed with comedy segments.

A lot of good movies mentioned here but, a lot of you seem to forget about Donnie Yen. Iron Monkey wasn't one of his better movies.

Got to go to his classics.

I think Iron Monkey and Ip Man are his best out of what I have seen. The rest were boring cop films with awesome fight sequences sprinkeled in..Kill Zone and Flashpoint.

Oh, and for those of you that like BJJ. Donnie Yen drops a bunch of holds in this movie from Triangle to arm bar to the rear naked choke.

It's fake as hell how many times the guy gets out of these holds though. Of course of it's a move though and it's made to look good.
