Freiza saga, that was such an epic fight. It was when Goku first went Super Saiyan. Also, Frieza took a fully-powered spirit bomb, and survived. wow. and it was around 9 episodes long. Epic is the only word available to describe it.
its a tough call for me. i love the epic scale of the frieza saga (spirit bomb/1st SS FTW!) however the constant twists and turns of the Cell saga kept me on edge for years. so its a very tough call. i'd say its a tie
enough with the hatin, by today's standards, yeah it sucks, but back then it was awesome. I think frieza saga was awesome. Cuz of the super saiyan and owning frieza... meh after buu, show went down.
Having watched the whole series (DB through GT), I can say that the series should've ended with the Frieza saga. Looking back, I can't believe I actually sat through the rest of DBZ or GT as a child. It was just filler and power whoring, making some of the characters from when the show didn't suck (Tien, Krillin, Yamcha) increasingly irrelevant.
probably the Frieza saga (Goku going SSJ for the first time is the most epic moment in any anime ever created), or the Android saga (so many bad ass moments)
I started watching DBZ when the Buu saga just started. So I watched that all I could. Until it went onto a weird time on cartoon network, or went off the air or something.
