What is your favorite Subway sandwich?

My all-time favorite would have to be a tuna (if it looks OK that day) with lettuce, tomatoes, loads of red onion, black olives, and a bunch of jalapeƱos.

Close runners-up would be the B.M.T and sweet onion chicken teryaki.

In all honesty I thought they got rid of that sandwich. I think they did in my area because I don't even see it on the menu anymore.

It's on the $5 footlong menu in my area. It's completely possible that they've removed it in places where its not that popular.

None. For a company so intent on people eating "fresh", almost every cold sub I've eaten from there is sub-par. I either eat Sheetz subs or the ones made in supermarket delis.

Yeah, most of their subs are terrible. When I do go there, which is rare, I get a meatball marinara with pepperjack cheese, onions, jalapenos, red peppers and extra chipotle southwest sauce.

It would have to be the sandwich I'm not eating. Subway does not make sandwiches (including subs, hoagies, grinders, etc.). For a real sandwich, you need to go to Philly, New York, or Boston. The stuff at Subway is cheap and tasteless.

I agree with that. Sheetz actually used to make decent food, but now it's really bad.

Sweet Onion Chicken Teryiaki, with swiss cheese, lettuce, pickles, cucumbers, and lots of sweet onion sauce, salt and pepper, parmesan, and oregeno, on parmesan oregano bread. Or a meatball sub, with the same veggies, but mustard, hotsauce, and parmesan, on italian herbs and cheese.

Subway subs are not very impressive to look at. You aren't missing anything.

Since you want pictures of a good hoagie....

You can find more images here. Needless to say I love Lee's Hoagies. I'm thinking about taking a 4 hour round trip to Philly just to get one (that, or have them ship overnight, which they do....).

Man I'm hungry now!
