I find it funny and amazing considering Forrest achieves what most of us can't do in several lifetimes, National Football champion, Medal of Honoree, International Ping-pong champion, Tycoon, source of inspiration to people and what not. And he is surrounded by good people. If there was some a$$hole in place of Lt. Dan he would had conned Forrest. Even Jenny could had easily manipulated Forrest and lived a luxurious life but she chose to tried not to and did what she felt was right

probably apollo 13. captain phillips or forrest gump would be a close second.

My choices. Saving Private Ryan is probably my favorite movie of all time but I just enjoy Forrest Gump more if that makes sense.

Saving Private Ryan....

Personally The Green Mile is my favorite so far. While Captain Phillips was nothing groundbreaking, but the Somalis' kidnappers and the whole settings of their despair and suffering were all really fixating. Watching the movie in HD helped too, it was such an eye candy.

I'd have to say Saving Private Ryan. The Green Mile is a close second.

I always under-appreciate Forest Gump until I am actually watching it and then I will be damn that is a well thought out movie. I'll go with Captain Phillips if I had to pick one.

Green Mile, Castaway or Saving Private Ryan. Can't be bothered to pick one. I also really really really loved Catch Me if You Can, although I feel like Leo stole the show, so it's in my mind as a Dicaprio movie before Hanks.

The Burbs, cause it had John Candy in it and was a great movie back in the early 90's. Probably not so good now, I not checked on it to see how it's aged. Memory is good though and that's enough.

Saving Ryan is too obvious. He was good, movie was good.
