I read Brave New World for an English class and I really disliked the way it was written. I felt the characters (other than John) were poorly developed.

I guess so but it's not really about the characters, for me anyway. The opening scene alone was amazing to me... just the way that something as natural as mothering is described. It's a creepy book.

Love 1984, I need to read Animal Farm. :P I'm already reading a book, I'll finish it then get around to it. Animal farm slipped my mind on my list of books to read, thanks for reminding me.

The Giver

I personally didnt like 1984 which I found odd since ANimal Farm is one of my favorite books around, I thought that 1984 had a great beginning and a great end, but the middle was just so ridiculously bland.

Is that the memory transferring one? I think I remember reading that about 20 years ago, give or take.

I absolutely loved this book.

It's the ONLY dystopian novel I've enjoyed.

A Clockwork Orange or 1984. I did not really like A Brave New World.
