Your favourite film of the year?

It would easily be The Dark Knight for me.

But what does everyone else think is the "Film of the Year"?

The Dark Knight. I'm surprised by the amount of users who've seen Let The Right One In...it's a great movie.jointed

I dont know if I have helped more people see it by spreading word of it's awesomeness, but my ego likes to think so:P

There are some other really good films I saw Recently that are close to being my favorites of the year.

1. Milk- really good film, I would give it about a 8.5, maybe a 9.

2. Frost/Nixon- again very good and interesting film. I would give it about an 8.

3. Nobel Son- very dark and funny film, Alan Rickman is awesome as always in it. Another 8.

4. The Boy in the striped Pajamas- A touching and tragic film, one of the best British films I have seen in a while. I give it a 9.

5. Adam Resurrected- Jeff Goldblum is back and better than ever in this odd yet touching film. I give it an 8.

why do people even ask this the majority of people are just gonna say dark knightkemar7856

I'm sure alot of them will, and did, but there are other films this year that are much better than the Dark Knight imo.

The Fall is another film this year that was very overlooked. Beautiful film though the story for some is a bit weak.

I only heard of it/saw it because of you. Had to go all the way to Portland to see it :P

I can see why everyone tends to pick the Dark Knight, though I thought it was pretty overrated. I would give it an 7.5, maybe an 8. Not that I didnt like it, I just didnt find much of it very interesting except for the Joker. There are tons of great films this year that alot of people are missing out on, then again I see tons of films whether they are popular or not and not everyone is a film geek:PFilm-Guy

I have seen it before, good film. Makes me want to watch a Val Kilmer movie actually.

I dont mind people loving it, I just dont love it as much as most do. I do however hope it doesnt get the sympathy or popular vote from the oscars, though I get the feeling it will.

No problem, you actually just remined me to watch Top Secret again since Val Kilmer is in Heat and he is awesome in everything. Yes even the batman movie he was in.

Another film I liked alot this year that really surprised me was The Signal, really good and darkly funny horror film.
