His name has always reminded me of Guava. It's not even similar spelling, even when I hear it I think guava.

On topic, uh...I don't have a clue. I guess they're all pretty cool. You know, helping humanity and everything.

American history is so filled with heroes that it's hard to pick just one. I am a big fan of Robert E. Lee, he was a class act and the best of his time. Without him the Confederacy wouldn't have lasted half as long.

Ernie Pyle

He wrote about the boys fighting in WWII on all fronts. He was killed while on Okinawa with the 77th Infantry Division and was buried among the soldiers he would write about. He also was awarded the Purple Heart.

Yep, before I got a guitar my favourite guitarist was Tony Iommi, but since I got it I find Pink Floyds stuff more challenging and more fun to play. That and I am on a massive PF binge atm, never really like the wall much before a few weeks ago but can't stop listening to it now, 6 times in the last 4 days and watched the film

Syd Barrett >>> David Gilmour

Piper gates of dawn + Saucerful of secrets >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Division bell + A momentary lapse of reason

I guess Pink Floyd under Roger Waters spurned out their best albums but when he left, Floyd became worse.

Even Syd's solo stuff is miles better than Gilmour's..

meh, for me high hopes and learning to fly is up there with anything floyd ever did. And how can anyone argue with the guitar solo in time? Probably my favourit ever, tied with lonely is the word with black sabbath, stairway, and comfortably numb. PFs best era was the Gilmore/Waters era though admittedly. Love set the controls and interestella overdrive though
