Jeff Loomis. He is the king of shredders IMO.

Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan are the guitar God's of regular rock for sure.

Buckethead is also insane.

Guitar God: My personal favorite is John Frusciante, but if asked I'd say that Jimi Hendrix is the best

Favorite Solo: Mr. Crowley (Randy Rhoads from Ozzy Osbourne)

Dave Suzuki. He's definately one of the best guitarists out there. I don't really have a favorite solo. Also, Dave Suzuki is unknown to the majority of the public, so I guess he counts for that, too.

My favorite guitarists are Marty Friedman, Chris Broderick and Jeff Loomis.

Greatest guitar solo ever is Tornado of Souls.

This opinion may make me sound like a fanboy, but I don't care. To me, Dimebag is the greatest. The man was a master of riffs and solos. Even so, my favorite solo isn't his. My favorite is the first part of Ride the Lightning solo, by my favorite band Metallica.

Yep, he does all AiC's guitar.

Miika tenkula of the band Sentenced , he was a genius when it came to melodic solos , i know there are many great guitarist out there who are fast and all , but speed doesn't impressed me , to me best music is simple and creative music , anyways check out some of his solos .
