If I had time, I might try to unhook and get my Wii and games out safely, but if there was an actual fire, I'd most likely just run out of my house...it's the wiser thing to do...my life is far more valuable than my gaming consoles. I have two cats...and I would (hopefully) get them out with me...and my mom too if she were home. I'm home alone right now, so if there was a fire, I'd just grab the cats and get the hell out of dodge. I didn't pick the girlfriend option because...well...I don't have a girlfriend...
Well, I will already have my cell-phone and mp4 player in my jacket's pockets so the next think I'll grab is my PC tower ......after I unscrew the safety plug of my monitor and take out all the other plugs from the back. >__>
Depends, if I was at my parents then Boxxy, my Ragdoll cat. If I'm at my girlfriends then some pants, I don't want to be standing outside with nothing on.
I would probably take my laptop. That way, I can still play games, watch TV or movies, do school work, and use the internet. Plus I have renter's insurance so I could use the laptop or order all-new stuff!

Well, does my dog count as an "item"? If not, I'd grab my laptop since it has a bunch of personal things on it that could not be replaced (pictures, documents, videos, etc.).

Evolution gave me two hands with opposable thumbs for a reason and that was to multitask.
Girlfriend and cookbook are 2 things. I would grab my PC...too much valuable information on it. You can always get a new girlfriend or new toys, but information is priceless.
