I think he was being sarcastic... but anyways yeh my net is really slow. Ever since i moved country from UK my net is really slow. In UK i had 2mb, and know i have something i would be too ashamed to say..okay its better then 56k..
To view pages, even at 700k is fast. But to download, I have to have at least more than 1.5 Mbps. If not, I'm just going to surf the web...I remember the old days, with my U.S. Robotics 56K modem...1995-96 days. My teenage years in high school...

no... 100.0Mbps Thats your network speed, not your ISP speed, most routers have 100mps network speed............. i use cable.. split it with 2 comp and 1 laptop... but still fast enough to download 1 song in 2 - 3 minute

Yeh i remember Texco.. a super market having a internet, to be honest what did you expect. Wait a minute, isn't 512 Kbps equal to about 5 Mbps? That's a great speed.
Somewhere between 56k and DSL. They call it "DSL Basic", I don't know what that means. It goes 20-250 kbps I think. Doesn't really matter, because it has a ridiculous 2 GB bandwidth limit per month.

That just goes against "teh internets" and what it stands for.

That's a great speed. not sure. but my maximum download speed is about 450Kbps, upload is about 250-300Kbps...and thats the best speed i get. im not complaibing because its cheap about £14 with no download limits of "fair usage policys"

Right now I have 1.5Mb, although I'm waiting for my new modem from my provider so I can upgrade to 3Mb. I wanted to go full out and get their 6Mb service but it's not available in my area.
Still not as fast as cable in off hours, but my god does it cream it during evenings.

That's why I like having our own server, it runs at 54 Mbps no matter what time of the day
