Your opinion on snitching.

When, if ever, do you think it's okay to snitch?

If you have personal vendetta on the person in particular?

If you fear for the person's safety?

If you fear he might bring bodily harm upon others?

etc.

Depends on what you're snitching for.

Like I may snitch if I witness a murder...only because I don't want to be arrested for being an accomplice.

But anyone who snitches because they saw someone vandalising property, someone getting a beat down, or anything small like that...deserves a beat down of their own.

How about if you know some crazy guy (let's say Cho seung-hui) and you know he bought some weapons and think he's going to shoot up the place.

Agreed. Its not OK unless you truely fear for your life.

It depends, but I usually don't care. If your friend just burns CDs, I wouldn't snitch.

If he was hurting people or got caught up in illegal gang activity, I would just stop being his friend.

I personally find it more commendable to take a stand and snitch, unless the person is only doing it for a reward or snitching on a friend for a petty crime.

If a person is snitching for the sake of others such as a victim of a robbery, murder, etc then why is it so bad?

Now if you're snitching because you have a personal beef with the person in particular, or there is a cash reward, then I would think it lowly.

I can understand burning CDs and DVDs because I really don't care. I can see occasionally drinking underage or smoking, because I know people who do it. They're not the brightest bulbs on the tree, but then again, I don't care.

If you start doing crack, I'm just going to leave you alone, because I shouldn't have to deal with that.

If you kill someone, yeah, I'm sure as crap gonna snitch on them, with a smile on my face as I do it too.

I myself don't snitch, especially in things dealing with highschool. But if i found out someone was going to shoot up the school, or something bad like that, i would definatley alert someone about it. but i wouldn't snitch, if i saw someone selling pot to someone else, or if i was getting picked on.

If you witness a crime, you should report it.

I don't see anything wrong with that sort of 'snitching'
