Your opinion on The Boondocks? Season 3 airing March 28th on Adult Swim

I find its truthful portrayal of black people to actually be hilarious. Including the excessive use of The N Word. Plus the main characters are hilarious. I also like how its probably the only japanese style animated show with no one of actual decent of anyone from that country in it. Black people anime style. Lol I believe the 3rd season will air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim seeing as how thats the only channel Im aware of that runs the show. Correct me if Im wrong.

There was a two part episode that spoofed BET that got banned because BET had enough power to ban it, you can find it on youtube.

The N word is probably used on Boondock because it comes on after all the kids are asleep plus its a vital part of the show.

Its about time Season 3 gets here. I've been waiting forever.

sweet... it seems like they barely make this show (2 seasons in 5 years!?!?). Great animation, great writing, great voice actors, just an awesome show. I've never saw it as a realistic portrayal of black life, but it is a satirical look at black culture.

The Boondocks is an excellent show. I see it as darker (no pun intended), more mature black version of South Park.

You just became my favorite person on here... ;) Anyway, on topic, I supposed everyone can kinda tell how I feel about the show... As the number one fan here I am sure, I look forward to it of course. Though the second season paled in comparison to the first. And I miss the preachiness of the comic, but I know that it would never be popular if it didn't give the people what they want. I can't help but cringe a bit when people say they love Riley (yeah, he is funny, but he is supposed to represent what is wrong in truth). But the show/comic does a good job of showing (if people really pay attention) to the fact that there are many types of "black people". We are not all the same (I am pretty much an older Huey though.
