I was on my way back from doing laundry today, and a thought struck me which I figured I'd throw out there to all of ya. If you had the chance to know how it is you would die, but not when it would happen, would you still want to know?
I'm thinking I probably wouldn't...it'd just stress me out. But then, if you did know, maybe it'd be something you could avoid... Like death by roller-coaster. But that would suck cuz I love roller-coasters...
I wouldn't want to know when or what cause even if I only knew what it was....What if it ended up I was gonna die from major thumb cramps from playing video games...If I knew I would stop playing video games and die from bordem so lol...Don't ask I'm tired..
Way i see it is that even if you knew how you would die there would be no way to prevent it. Take your example of roller coasters. If you found out that you would die on a roller coaster and you avoided them from than on you would still somehow die on/by a roller coaster. This would drive you nuts in no time.
I would not want to know how, but when. Knowing how would more than likely reveal something pretty mundane like cancer, but when could be a real trip since you could virtually do anything without regard to yourself since you know the date of doom. Of course, that doesn't mean you'll be vegetable for years after a particularly stupid incident, but hey, at least it will look cool.
