His material really isnt that special and he tries too hard in his delivery. Some (lots) of people like his highly energetic style, I just think its annoying.

I actually don't find Dane Cook funny at all. I was watching some of his videos on youtube, and some of his jokes aren't even jokes. Example: he talked for like 3 minutes about how some guy turned and sneezed on him, and people were just dying of laughter in the audience. Hey that's hilarious, last time I was on a plane the guy next to me clipped his fingernails mid-flight, can I go on tour with him now?

Strangely enough, I didn't see you post it but I searched and watched it on youtube anyway prior to posting, in order to confirm that I hate Dane Cook. I can honestly say I laughed once during that video when he said "I'm an Atheist," and that was it.
i have been a fan of dane cook since long before he was famous. i dont understand people who say he has no jokes. he just has a different style.is he my favorite comedian? probably not. hes one of my favorite comedians.
Hack, and he steals other comedians bits. However, he does have good stage presence, which is why he is so popular. None the less though, hes still a hack.
Like most comedians, he's funny the first time you hear them. Once you know their set, it's pointless to listen to anything by them. its all the same stuff.
There are rare comedians, Mitch Hedberg and Demitri Martin, whom you can listen to a lot and still crack up.
I don't think he has the staying power to be a truly great comedian. He'll be around for awhile, but eventually he'll fade away. Personally I don't find him funny, but some people do. To each their own.
