Although I'm guilty of making fun of some, I just had a thought occur to me. A few banned users actually return (myself included). I remember reading my banned thread while I was banned, waiting for the mistake to be cleared up, and then I returned to GS and thought "Wow, now it's awkard." I personally think banned users should be protected under the Terms of Use, because there's always a slight chance that they can return. Plus, they may just want to create a new account to further troll those who trolled them while they're banned. That's just me, though...
In my experience banning them does nothing really. Even IP banning. Easy to get around. So I usually just kinda giggle and wonder what their next name is gonna be.

well that makes a lot of sense. sometimes banned users get banned for something they didn't do or for other reasons that i will not talk about here.

Well to play Devil's Advocate, I don't agree with ban dodging at all. It's the worst thing you can do to your case. If you really felt you didn't deserve to get banned, then wait for customer service to reinstate you.

There are a few I don't agree with, and a few that I agree with but would like to see back. CS has rescinded some bans before, so that 2nd group is smaller now.
Most can't take the hint that they aren't wanted though...

If they attempted to annoy people, troll them or anything ele they should't be welcomed back.If there banning was indeed a mistake they should e welcomed back.A great example will be two ban dodgers namedspartan-kratos and Shred3D. They pretty much madeclose to a dozen accounts each to ban dodge before they decided to give up and leave this site forever.

That seems to happen quite a bit...and is the majority of ban dodgers. The banned users that weren't trolls tend to make one account and post as long as they can without trolling. But most are just more of the same from someone with too much time on their hands and nothing else to do that think trolling is cool.
They are banned, because they obviously could not follow the rules But they must enjoy it here, some create many, many alts. Like that one guy, his original account was Stever something. He had like what, at least 5 alts.:?

I agree with what you are saying,but at least GS is attempted to stop these ban dodgers from creating multiple accounts quickly even if some ban dodgers are able to get pastGS's mods for awhile.
