I thought it was great, though not as good as some of Aronofsky's other works (Requiem for a Dream is one of my favorite movies). It succeeded in making the audience feel very uncomfortable, but in a good way that helped you connect with the main character. I definitely think it deserves the Oscar for best director and best actress.
If you liked it, you should check out Perfect Blue, as the storyline is very similar to Black Swan.
I loved it. It's in my top 3 of 2010. I just love films like that - the downward spiral, the descent into madness, trying to distinguish between what is real and what is not, etc. I guess that's why I like Cronenberg and Polanski so much.
