Lately iv been listening to a lot of hip hop/rap. I choose who i listen to carefully because personally i hate Auto tune here's my top 10 whats yours? My top 3 are in no order. 1) Nas-Lyrically perfected, Flow from the gods and he had a feud with hip hops richest and most famous rappers of all time. 2)Outkast(Andre 3000 and Big Boi)- Very unique great group. 3)Lauryn hill-Singing is amazing and her rapping is yet better shes lyrically perfected as well. 4)Notorious B.I.G-He had an amazing run, his commanding voice is what got me into him. 5)Method man-Nothing but amazing has come from this guy. 6)2Pac-Amazing lyrics and an amazing feud he had with bigge. 7)Jay-z- hes got a 2 not so good albums but go back 5 years and hes bringing it. He also had a feud with nas 8 )The fugees(Lauryn hill,wycleff jean,pras)- Listen to the score and honestly try to tell me a single flaw. 9)Mobb deep-The infamous is just wow. 10)Ghost face killah-The album fish scale makes me scream like a little girl.

The only two rappers I'm willing to listen to any more are 2pac and Dr. Dre... and even them I won't actively listen to....

I stuggle with top 5 or top 10's in rap. I always know my top 2 though. I could go on, add Big Daddy Kane, Tupac, ATCQ (or just Q-Tip), Talib... it's hard.

Yea defiantly, one thing in hip hop that pisses me off tho is that Andre 3000 is recognized, but not as popular as he should be.

10. Scarface: Your favorite rappers favorite rapper, I love Scarface's story telling prowress
9. Big L: Punch lines galore, he writes them well. Only two albums but he's gone too soon.
8. DJ Quik: A west coast gem, his production is ill and his song + lyrical work is just top notch. Love his flow.
7. Mos Def: One of my favorites, he made Black Star and his solo work has been very good. I love his ****
6. Eminem: The best new rapper, ever. He has everything on his side and the future is bright.
5. Tupac Shakur: The best of the best, if not for his numerous posthomous albums, he would have one of the best catalogues in music.
4. Ghostface Killah: Another consistent artist and hands down the best part of the Wu Tang Clan
3. Andre 3000/ Big Boi: They're the best of the south, they've consistently released albums which I rank as some of the best and they are amazing lyriscists and producers.
2. Q-Tip: He's rolled with the Jungle Brothers, one of the best of the 80's and then he started the best group of the 90's, ATCQ. His solo work is also amazing.
1. Ice Cube: Best lyricist in the game. He's responsible for some of the best albums in Hip Hop and he's been consistently amazing forever. He's hands down the best.

I like me some GZA, Eminem, Dr. Dre, NWA, Nas, Kanye West, The Streets, Eazy-E, I also liked some DMX stuff at one point but he's got some major issues.

Good choices except for Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, the flow is there but neither of them can write to save their life and I'm a huge Dre fan
