You can either have a room with all the video games, movies, books, music, or paintings known to man. Which would you pick? Of course the required equipment used to appreciate them would be available. i.e there would be a TV for watching the movies, etc.

I'll go with books if I can have ones once known to man but no longer . . . and some way to translate these texts into English. :P

What about martial arts? do those count?

I'd be pretty happy trapped in a room with only martial arts, even if there were no one to use them against.

1. Video games

2. Music

3. Books

4. Movies

5. Visual Art

I feel like video games include the other options (with the possible exception of books)

Umm video games because you get to interact with the art and make decisions.

Movie you must sit down and watch

Music is cool to a point but i find my self listting to the same couple of songs

art is cool to look at for while but it's not something i can look at 24/7

books yawn... only type ready i do on daily bases that is not required... Is manges...

VIDEO GAMES

Video games. They tend to have pretty good music, acceptable stories and take longer for me to finish than most books.

Games for sure. They contain music and movies (cut scenes) and can have pictures or vistas/other beautioful things to look at, plus they are interactive.

If I was trpped I'd want a PC AND a console... which I assume would include a couch as being part of the experience, simply sitting at a desk for a long time can be uncomfortable. (I'm a PC gamer too, ftr :P)

Problem is with Visual art is that it doesn't hold your attention for all that long. It's only innovative if I am allowed to draw myself.

Easily movies if indeed it is a seemingly endless supply and then books in a very close second.

I don't even play video games to begin with, yet there is no contest in this; video games obviously. You can interact with other people via that medium, as others have already pointed out, and modern video games can contain all of the other listed mediums.

If you're going with books in this thread, you're blatantly lying to yourself first and foremost.
